Condition before renovation

The bike is now, in the year 2023, 46 years old. It was used a lot for many years and then lay around unmaintained for many years.

The good news is that the bike is largely in its original condition.

  • Frame - Raleigh (Reynolds 531)
  • Derailleur system - Shimano Crane/Dura Ace
  • Brakes - Modolo Speedy
  • Rims - Original Mavic
  • Headset - Campagnolo
  • Stem - SR (?)

Unfortunately no longer original:

  • Pedals with pedal straps
  • Brake levers
  • The saddle
  • The handlebar

Condition: Deplorable

Expectation: A lot of work to restore this beauty.
